For our latest guest mix, Argentinian DJ Mamá Tora treats us to a beautiful mix of Andean music from across the generations, and regions uniting different aspects of Andean music. She came to our attention with her wonderful ‘Fiestas del Alto’ series but her DJ style traverses all kinds of Latin American, Tropical & global sounds – one to watch!

“The mix is ​​a timeless journey through diverse Andean sounds. Between very traditional roots with others more modern sounds: huayno, sanjuanito, caporal, cumbia, electronica, tunantada, baguala, bailecito. It’s also a cross between Andean sounds throughout the region. I am very interested in generating listening states that are completed with the space-time variations of music that share the same root.”
