The Rambunctious Love Carnival

04.12.2015
#FLAWA2020 has prepared a night of non-stopping dance with Ms Nina, a young multidisciplinary artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. She achieved international recognition as a net artist, exhibiting at Junior High (Los Angeles), La Térmica and La Fresh Gallery, one of the most prestigious galleries in Spain. Her musical career has made her one of the key figures to understand the Latin rhythms that sound in Europe.

We’re back for our 6th and last Love Carnival of the year!

To round off 2015 with a bang we’ve got an extra special visual treat. On December 4th the Bussey Building will be transformed into the interactive & colourful tropical ballroom by festival favourites The Rambunctious Social Club. If that wasn’t enough then the bright lights of the intergalactic Latin Bass robot, Oscillador Bass, will melt your eyes and ears! All this on top of the cutting edge visuals from Oddscene and Love Carnival decor from the Tropical Angel.

Oh! Plus the finest selection of Tropical Bass, Afrobeats, Toxic-Cumbia, and Dancehall Rhythms to make you shake your body and move your feet all night long!

The Rambunctious Social Club has firmly established themselves as one of the South West's most unique club/arts experiences, penned as 'Clubbing for the creatively curious' Rambunctious aims to pull in the party goers in a more interactive, 'come and play' fashion. Rambunctious is the collaborative creation of visual artist and art wizard Lee Hodges, aka DJ Hod'guez, and Glyn Griffths aka DJ Griff (Jelly Jazz), both ardent, all about tune rattlers. Since it's beginning nearly three years ago Rambunctious has been exciting venues across the south west with fun filled themed nights of interactive play and the hookiest dance-floor tunes your feet can fathom!
Remember it's all about YOU!

Plus from out of space via Mexico, comes the favorite ancestral robot of housewives and washing machines. Assembled over 15 thousand light years ago on the planet "Cumbiatron”, with parts of ancestral robots and pieces of spatial glass; this supreme being is the miracle of his extinct civilization: Oscilador Bass. His mission and objective: to collect music and culture of all galaxies. After traveling and finding only desolation, he discovers a planet called "Earth". After centuries of technological and musical learning, Oscillador Bass creates a new sound called “Latin Bass Sound” mixing güiros, cencerros and tumbas with deep spatial sound, designed to transmit happiness to all humanity, fulfilling the desire of his ancestors.

Not forgetting on hosting duties we have the Love Carnival Sound System. DJ Cal Jader, and Selecta Mad Max will be running through the spectrum of fresh tropical riddims from Cumbia to Afrobeats, Dancehall, Moombahton and much more, while the mighty Fedzilla takes the mic with her multi-lingual lyricism and international flow. Plus cutting-edge visuals from Oddscene and extra decor from our very own Tropical Angel.
