Get set for another full powered ¡Muévete! night of Afro-Latin & tropical rhythms with electronic sounds featuring TWO very special international guests ready to set the stage alight at the Jago.

It’s a double header of Venezuelan talent as we welcome producer / vocalist and DJ MPeach whose own music explores the intersections of Latin, Caribbean and African music with electronic sounds and as a DJ has just made history as part of the first ever Boiler Room session in Caracas alongside Arca, Cardopusher and DJ Baba!! Whilst DJ / producer Tiraya makes a London debut with his dynamic & eclectic groove filled Afro-Latin, House & Techno infused sounds, fresh from rocking multiple shows around the globe including in Mexico, LA & the recent Latin Grammys in Sevilla.

MPEACH

MPeach, aka Mariana Martín Capriles, is a Venezuelan multi-disciplinary artist living in Brooklyn, NY. As a vocalist/producer/DJ and audiovisual artist, she intertwines bass-heavy electronic sounds with rhythms rooted in traditional music. Having built a body of work that explores sounds of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa — and the possibilities of these sounds in new electronic territories — MPeach lives in the liminal borderlands of honoring traditional folk sounds rooted in rich cultural histories and the future of Latin American sound. By engaging Venezuelan folkloric music as a tradition that remains alive and evolving, she challenges stagnant notions of authenticity by creating work responsive to the forces that shape its creators, listeners, and dancers, using electronic music as a vehicle for preserving tradition in the collective memory.

She has toured across the United States, Latin America, and Europe. MPeach has released music with Dutty Artz, Abstractor, NWLA, Interscope, Majia, On the Corner, and her imprint PEACHTOWN. Her music is in several official motion picture soundtracks, including “Skate Kitchen” by award-winning director Crystal Moselle. She recently performed alongside Arca, Cardopusher / Safety Trance, Dj Baba, Dj Yirvin, and Phran at the first-ever Boiler Room in Caracas, Venezuela.

TIRAYA

Named after the Venezuelan region where his maternal grandfather was born Tiraya is the solo project of the Venezuelan percussionist, DJ and producer based in Madrid

His dynamic and groovy sets had been danced until the sunrise in many dancefloors around the world like; RSPV in Los Angeles, the Retina Magazine Awards in Spain, the German festival 3000GRAD, the Polish film festival Zubroffka, Los Carnavales de Tenerife 2023 or the Latin Grammys sevilla 2024 x Altafonte.

With a unique style and mostly influenced from black music, Tiraya moves between the most soulful house to the grooviest urban tech house, passing through Afro-Latin tribalism, techno, acid and self-produced edits.

He has collaborated and remixed artists such as Baiuca, Zuaraz, Ronroneo or Blanco Palamera and he’s dj resident and booker at NUEBO Club party at Sala Sol, at Café Berlin with his party TIRAYA CLUB and JAZZ BIZZIES at Sala Siroco, among many other projects.

After the release of FARLOPERO ft Paquesvr (Raso Estudio, 2023), and SHORTY, the first of many bootleg/edits to come and his first international tour in which he did 11 dates in Mexico, TIRAYA is currently preparing an album and several collaborations that will be released very soon.
