Muévete's Cal Jader and DJ Arias continue the year in style hosting a residents special on this always jumping, always rammed tropical themed Saturday night at the Arts Club. This month they help continue a huge day of live music at the Arts Club introducing a live set from roots reggae rockers Babilondon.
A favourite for Saturday night crowds in West London, Muévete is a monthly fiesta - a pure party version of Movimientos, with a dance floor-slammin' mash up of raw Latin beats and tropical bass. From the rolling Latin rhythms of salsa, cumbia, merengue and Samba to the raw urban flavours of reggaeton, Hip Hop, dancehall, baile funk, moombahton and dutty carnival rhythms, incorporating a healthy dose of African beats and global underground music.
Babilondon is a fresh London based roots reggae band inspired by the sun, sea, and surf of frontman Zack Woolfson's Portuguese background.? The band have developed a strong unity having studied music together in London and their diverse mix of nationalities, personalities and different rootical cultures brings out a unique sound. With a debut EP on the way, gigs and festivals booked, they are ready to take on any audience, get them skanking, and have a good time!
