We’re back at Notting Hill Arts Club to bring you a night of serious Latin and tropical vibes. This month we’ve got special guest Pedrolito direct from Paris, joining them will be top selectas, Movimientos amigos and west London dwellers Tropical Beats DJs! Plus we have the Punk-Funk Bass, Beats, & Latin Grooves of More Peas on a live tip!

Originally hailing from Argentina Pedrolito (Muevelo / Paris) is one of the hypest DJs in Europe mixing Cumbia, Reggaeton and Tropical Bass. As a DJ & “digger”, he’s sharing his good vibes through his "Dale amor a la cumbia que la cumbia te lo devuelve" mixtapes. He’s currently broadcasting on Radio Groovalizacion and running the regular Latin urban Muevelo party in Paris, and has shared the stage with the likes of Uproot Andy, Dengue Dengue Dengue, Fauna, Sergent Garcia, Miss Bolivia, El Hijo de la Cumbia, the SoulJazz Orchestra, RKK from Radio Nova, Joao Brasil, Geko Jones, BBrave (Akwaaba Music), Max le Daron, P18, Dee Nasty, Alika, and many more. Prepare to get down low on the dancefloor.

Tropical Beats Radio is broadcast every third Thursday of the month on Kilburn to Kensal Radio. Always a must to hear the finest in Afro Beat, Latin Rhythms, Carnival Beats and Tropical Bass. For Muevete expect the finest Latin, Caribbean & Brazilian floor fillers from this duo who’ve been shaking the tropical dancefloors across London for the last two years.

More Peas bring their unique sound, combining sweat-drenched basslines and grooves straight out of Parliament, layered with sultry punk vocals inspired by the likes of ESG and The Slits, all with a touch of feminism and unitards. This London punk-funk trio are destined for big things.

PURE TROPICAL PARTY VIBES!! A favourite for Saturday night crowds in West London, Muévete is a monthly fiesta - a pure party version of Movimientos, with a dance floor-slammin' mash up of raw Latin beats and tropical bass. From the rolling Latin rhythms of salsa, cumbia, merengue and Samba to the raw urban flavours of reggaeton, Hip Hop, dancehall, moombahton, baile funk and dutty carnival rhythms, incorporating a healthy dose of African beats and global underground music.

Put simply Muévete translates as 'Move it!' so we're not messing around - straight to the dancefloor!
