MOVIMIENTOS XMAS FIESTA 2014

19.12.2014
#FLAWA2020 has prepared a night of non-stopping dance with Ms Nina, a young multidisciplinary artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. She achieved international recognition as a net artist, exhibiting at Junior High (Los Angeles), La Térmica and La Fresh Gallery, one of the most prestigious galleries in Spain. Her musical career has made her one of the key figures to understand the Latin rhythms that sound in Europe.
Movimientos Xmas Fiesta 2014
19th December 2014 @ Passing Clouds // 7pm-3am

For our winter bonanza we have special guests and festival favourites Pachango from the south coast of England via Colombia and Spain - their sound combines bouncy Ska and Hip Hop flavours alongside rolling Latin percussion and Cumbia beats. And hot on the heels of their debut EP release Cable Street Collective whose sound draws from African Highlife and Soukous whilst throwing in elements of Funk, Ska and Soul for a sublime carnival pop experience.

Keeping the dancefloor jumpin’Movimientos’ Cal Jader is joined by regular compadre MadMax(Jukebox Baloo) plus there’s debut Movimientos sets from Larry SKG(Frutos Prohibido), Ru Robinson from Bristol crew Son Chaméléon and party starter La Luz. And upstairs Alborada celebrate a brilliant 2014 with some short films between 7 and 9pm followed by special acoustic guests live and their crew of DJ selectors, followed DJ Vivi Reis who joins Udigrudi’s Larissa for another exquisite journey through Brazilian beats and tropical vinyls.
