Following the crazy session last time out Movimientos familia return to take-over the top floor of the Jago for a Friday night back to back session of Latin and Tropical sounds from classics and Afro-Carribean jams to Salsa, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Dancehall, Disco, House and everything in between. Mafe Maracuyeah

Mafe Maracuyeah is a is a Colombian raised, Washington DC DJ now based in Paris. After a childhood surrounded by traditional song in Bogota and a punk rock adolescence in Florida, she moved to Washington DC where she became the ambassador of the new Latinx scene as one of founders of “Maracuyeah”. DJ, promoter and activist of this Latinx alternative scene, she has since moved to Paris where she co-founded the Latin Beat Machine festival and continues to mix in venues such as La Bellevilloise, Cabaret Sauvage, Petit Bain and L’Hasard Ludique. Her sets mix Latin American rhythms with electronic music, a transcontinental exploration of sounds ready for the dancefloor.

Mafe Maracuyeah has shared the stage with luminaries of the alternative Latin scene such as Bomba Estereo, Lido Pimienta among many others in cities such as  New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Mexico City, Berlin, London and Bogota.

Colombian-born, DJ based in South London Amancai is a faithful advocate of South American music and artists and a particular love for Afro-caribbean music. Resident with the long running Movimientos London club nights.

Rataprincess was introduced to the turntables in Bushwick, Brooklyn in 2011, when she started throwing parties and playing music in NYC venues. A lover of Hip-Hop and all sounds of Latin America, she produces beats, remixes classics and has performed across the world — from her native Bogotá to Berlin to Goa.

Cal Jader is one of the musical activists, founders and original DJs behind Movimientos and co-host of one of London’s wildest tropical / global bass parties Love Carnival. With his trademark blend of fresh Latin and Tropical beats, uptempo carnival rhythms and future global sounds he is helping to soundtrack London’s underground music scene with regular sets across the capital, as well as around the UK and Europe with regular gigs in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris & Lisbon amongst others.
