Movimientos are back with another spectacular Hootananny night filled with afro-caribbean, latin and gypsy rhythms to keep you dancing all night long! We’ve got Son Pikkante direct from Brighton bring some heavy Afro-caribbean rhythms. Joining them are very special guests Afrocodigos with their foot stomping Afro-Venezuelan drums direct from Caracas. AND performing their farewell show are local favourites Los Pelos Rizos with their gypsy funk and hip shaking latin grooves. Expect big vibes and do not miss out!

Traditional Afro-Venezuelan drums direct from Caracas
Beginning in 2005, Afrocodigos set out to explore traditional Venezuelan folk music and other genres of America and the world. Creating various afro-venezuelan rhythms and adding to them other instruments like the violin, saxophone, electric bass which allow the doors to creativity and fusion to open without losing the core essence rhythmic drums.

High kickin' Gypsy Funk and Latin grooves
Los Pelos Rizos is London’s critically acclaimed Gypsy Funk band with their sound described as: "bursting with layers of eclectic energy wrapped in Latin rhythms.” Featuring violin, trumpet, guitars, mandolin, bass and cajon, they have a regular following, a residency at The Troubadour and played to jubilant audiences at The Edinburgh Festival.
