Another rip roaring line up of live acts at one of Brixton’s favourite venues, The Hootananny. This month we’ve got top international act, direct from Buenos Aires, Simja Dujov.
Simja Dujov brings his troupe of Argentinian musical mavericks to blast you with a blend of Latin Cumbia, Balkan chords, Jewish music and Cuarteto. Perfect for getting into trance on the dance floor. Energy and cheerfulness into the party.
“A happy soul in Argentina blends sounds of the world.” Forward
To get your hips swaying before hand, we've got Mono De Azucar with their London brewed blend of swinging Latin flavours from spanish rumba to uptempo bossa novas for the dancefloor.
Warming up are The Indios, a London based indie tropical band which was born after two friends from Colombia decided to find a way to make even the shyest person dance. All The Indios want to do is share Latin American music and start the party!
Movimientos DJs keep it jumping in between and after joining the dots between latin rhythms, global bass and tropical carnival sounds.
