Movimientos brings you another exceptional live line-up at East London’s cultural hub, Rich Mix.
Orchestre Du Mont-Plaisant are a baroque group born in London, bringing together global rhythms and dramatic cinematic moments. Skillfully instrumental, they play blues and dance, with influences soaring between Ethiopian jazz, Congolesesoukous and cumbia. The band has already toured and performed in France, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro. Their LP is now out on Catapulte Records. www.catapulterecords.com
7Suns are a group of London based musicians whose music is an finely blended mix of Afro, Latin, Caribbean, Funk, Jazz & Rock. Their mostly instrumental melodies and up-tempo rhythms are played with a deliciously danceable quality and fantastic rock intensity.
