#FLAWA2020 has prepared a night of non-stopping dance with Ms Nina, a young multidisciplinary artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. She achieved international recognition as a net artist, exhibiting at Junior High (Los Angeles), La Térmica and La Fresh Gallery, one of the most prestigious galleries in Spain. Her musical career has made her one of the key figures to understand the Latin rhythms that sound in Europe.

Movimientos proudly welcomes Nano Stern (Chile) to the UK stage, supported by Violentango (Argentina).

WITH Alborada Films and Chile 40 Network presenting a flash forum about the legacy of Salvador Allende plus Navarrete's forthcoming documentary about Chile's student movement.*

After four award-winning and critically acclaimed solo albums, Nano Stern has had a meteoric rise to fame. He's part of the New Wave of Chilean music, with a fanbase that spans Latin America, Europe, Australia and beyond. Stern brings an Indie-Folk-Rock inspired sound that's rooted in traditional Chilean music and influenced by legends such as Violeta Parra and Inti-Illimani, as well as a host of current global music influences which combine effortlessly with his early classical training. He writes, sings and speaks about social justice issues and is active in Chilean Human Rights campaigning.

Alborada Films & Chile 40 Network

September 11 2013 will mark the 40th anniversary since a US-supported coup overthrew the democratically-elected government of Salvador Allende, resulting in the brutal 17 year dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. Roberto Navarrete from Alborada Films will show exclusive clips from and talk about his forthcoming short documentary on the Chilean student movement. Maria Vasquez-Aguilar from the London section of the Chile 40 network will briefly talk about the network’s aims and activities.
