She achieved international recognition as a net artist, exhibiting at Junior High (Los Angeles), La Térmica and La Fresh Gallery, one of the most prestigious galleries in Spain. Her musical career has made her one of the key figures to understand the Latin rhythms that sound in Europe.

About the line-up:

WARA
London's Latin musical revolutionaries
http://movimientosrecords.bandcamp.com/album/wara-ep

Currently recording their much anticipated debut album, Wara have smashed it this summer with showstopping performances at BT London Live, New Voices Festival, Secret Garden, Shoreditch Festival and Leefest to name but a few. The band have concocted an epic new musical genre of their own with strong Cuban roots; a hot melting pot of identities and musical influences from all over the world: Cuba, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Ghana, Congo, Spain and the UK. Combining a lyrically conscious approach with exceptional musicianship, this is a band with an urgent voice that demands to be heard.

"(Wara are) at the cutting edge… of the musical pulse."
Lopa Kothari, BBC Radio 3

“Wara are young musical revolutionaries who simply ignore convention…they represent the true sound of contemporary Latin London in the 21st century."
Lubi Jovanovic (UK Latin DJ/Promoter/Journalist)

DREAD-I LIGHT AND THE BENNU DUB ENSEMBLE

Hip Hop and Dub with Middle Eastern flavours

South London’s Bennu Dub Ensemble play an energetic mix of experimental free improv, Dub and Hip Hop. Lead by vocalist/MC Dread I Light, who delivers an upbeat conscious message through word play and song, together they create a sound that is both powerful and new, with “hypnotic rhythms and engaging musical conversations."

ERIC NESS
Swing, Jazz and melodic acoustic rock 'n' roll
http://www.ericness.co.uk/

With his 6-piece band behind him, Eric has toured all over the UK, impressing both audiences and critics alike. He has also recently performed across Europe and in a US Tour. Ness’s music sees a mix of pop, jazz and indie rock, with exclusively acoustic elements. His songwriting draws inspiration from artists like Kaizers Orchestra, Tom Waits, Katzenjammer, The Beatles and Django Reinhardt.

“...more musical inventiveness and catchy melodies than most artists entire careers.”?
Skiddle

Cal Jader is one of the founders of Movimientos and a champion of new wave Latin music. His sets bring people together with the freshest Latin and global sounds, combining classic rhythms with contemporary cutting-edge and urban beats with a London twist.
