Movimientos Presents: Animanz + La Explosion + Mike Kalle + Movimientos DJs

18.03.2016
#FLAWA2020 has prepared a night of non-stopping dance with Ms Nina, a young multidisciplinary artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. She achieved international recognition as a net artist, exhibiting at Junior High (Los Angeles), La Térmica and La Fresh Gallery, one of the most prestigious galleries in Spain. Her musical career has made her one of the key figures to understand the Latin rhythms that sound in Europe.
This month we’re unleashing the mad beasts of afro-latin-funk, Animanz. Joining them are La Explosion, with their fresh blend of rocking Rumba and Flamenco. Finally, we have London’s hypest Latin MC Mike Kalle.

ANIMANZ
Outerplanetary Afro-Latin Hip Hop Punks

Born into captivity, Animanz rattled, scratched, bit and tore until during 2013 they developed an awareness of what lay beyond the caged confines of London Zoo. As they explored, certain events lead them to experience such sounds as 'No Future' and 'Killa House Wife From Outta Space'. Described as HipFunkAfroLatinHop, an Animanz show is a safari through the dense urban jungle into a myotropic world of groove, energy & exhilaration.

Hear the Animanz upcoming EP in the flesh before anyone else, as we unleash them on Passing Clouds. The tropical flame, Juanita Euka, will be holding the stage as mistress of ceremonies while Animanz take you on a safari through Afro Latin swamps and ancient Funk ruins.

Big band madness. Not one to miss, who knows when they will emerge again.

LA EXPLOSION
Rumba / Flamenco with added Latina Sabor
A Rumba collective comprised of an eclectic group of talented musicians. Re-creating the very best songs of Latin Culture infecting them with a spark of world music and exploding into Rumba Flamenco. Tunes that are sure to get you dancing!
