#FLAWA2020 has prepared a night of non-stopping dance with Ms Nina, a young multidisciplinary artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. She achieved international recognition as a net artist, exhibiting at Junior High (Los Angeles), La Térmica and La Fresh Gallery, one of the most prestigious galleries in Spain. Her musical career has made her one of the key figures to understand the Latin rhythms that sound in Europe.

Movimientos?are back for another funky eclectic tropically fired fiesta… get ready for some bangin Afrobeat, groovin marimba, juicy jazz, swingin salsa, plus mambo, funk, ska and reggae! We welcome Harare, a fresh new Zimbabwean group, formed by virtuoso marimbist Kuda Matimba, a member of the Zimbabwe's legendary?Bhundu Boys, bringing traditional hypnotic dance rhythms plus socially aware lyrics to the Hoots stage. Plus?Mama Brass, an 8-piece New Orleans-inspired brass band from Oxford, inspired by Latin and West African rhythms and more. The Saboristas are a London Latin influenced collective that’ll get you moving like you’re in downtown Bogota. Last but not least…?DJ Cal Jader?will be joining the dots in between and keeping things rocking until 3am with selections of Latin rhythms and Tropical bass.

Harare:
Irresistable marimba fuelled Afro dance rhythms?
Harare is one of the few groups to be playing Zimbabwean dance music in Europe. Formed by virtuoso marimbist Kuda Matimba (a member of the Zimbabwe's legendary Bhundu Boys), 4-piece Harare combines different styles from Jit Jive to traditional hypnotic rhythms of the mbira (lamellaphone/thumb piano). Their music - sung in the Shone language of Zimbabwe - is about social awareness, life yesterday, today and tomorrow, advice, respect, love for one another and compassion, as the musicians express pain, love, wisdom and rage. Whatever you hope for when you think of Zimbabwean music be sure that Harare has it aplenty: ringing jingling guitars, rich-toned marimba, irresistible dance rhythms, swooping basslines, uplifting vocals … they’re all there, plus the unavoidable big grin that the music always puts on your face.

Mama Brass:
New Orleans inspired funk infused with latin and West African riddims: Mama Brass bring the spice of a brass band with a fresh grating of funk zest. Originally from Oxford, Mama Brass have crossed continents and climbed mountains on the way to the big smoke, to this day still shaking the Beninoise sand from their glittery boots. Dashing out a heavy breakfast of original bangers and reworkings of old and new classics - from Whitney to Rita Ora, Mama's here to take your troubles away.
