Lambeth Country Show After Party – Mestre Chacon & Baque de Axé + DJ Cal Jader

21.07.2019
#FLAWA2020 has prepared a night of non-stopping dance with Ms Nina, a young multidisciplinary artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. She achieved international recognition as a net artist, exhibiting at Junior High (Los Angeles), La Térmica and La Fresh Gallery, one of the most prestigious galleries in Spain. Her musical career has made her one of the key figures to understand the Latin rhythms that sound in Europe.
Master drummer, community spokesperson and religious leader, Mestre (Master) Chacon leads the most decorated maracatu carnival band from Recife amassing over 100 years of tradition and resistance - Nação do Maracatu Porto Rico.

Performing with London's very own Baque de Axé, Mestre Chacon will take Hootananny on a journey of Afro-Brazilian roots music, celebrating the mixed heritages and diversity, referencing Angolan, Yoruba and indigenous culture.

Expect thunderous drums, rich vocals and a harmonious chorus.

Movimientos’ own DJ Cal Jader will be keeping things moving before and after with a blend of percussive Latin beats.
