KARNIVAL TROPICAL

14.02.2015
#FLAWA2020 has prepared a night of non-stopping dance with Ms Nina, a young multidisciplinary artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. She achieved international recognition as a net artist, exhibiting at Junior High (Los Angeles), La Térmica and La Fresh Gallery, one of the most prestigious galleries in Spain. Her musical career has made her one of the key figures to understand the Latin rhythms that sound in Europe.
Movimientos celebrates carnival weekend in Brazil and beyond with a two floor extravaganza of some of the sweetest tropical beats from the Caribbean, Latin America and Africa.

A continental twist on the carnival sound with very special guest from Bologna Italy DJ Farrapo. As a producer behind tons of massive releases Farrapo is an originator of mixing global sounds with contemporary dance floor flavours from Brazilian drum and bass to Afro-Latin and swing - he's also one of the finest global beat DJs around. Plus welcoming Larry SKG newest member of the trailblazing tropical beats label Carnibal Records joining Movimientos' Cal Jader for the finest carnival flavours all the way through from Latin, Afro, Reggae, Ska, Cumbia, Calypso, Soca, and Samba with plenty of bass.

Whilst upstairs producer DJ Rukaiya Russell returns to the Bedroom Bar following a killer set at Gilles Peterson's Havana Soundclash launch - a project on which she's featured with two collaborations recorded in Cuba with some of the countries finest vocalists and musicians. Joining her KT regular and It's A Worldwide Thing podcast host IAMRISHA and BB resident Madera Verde for more Afro-bass and Latin house centric vibes.
