For an end of the year celebration DJ Cal Jader is joined by two of the finest new wave tropical selectors and close Movimientos collaborators Mad Max and Chilango for the monthly fiesta Muévete with it's original formula of uptempo Latino-Caribbean-Tropical soundclash vibe where classic rhythms get bastardised and twisted up for the modern dancefloor.
Originally from Birmingham and now residing in London, MadMax from Whomanity Sound plays many forms of global bass music. ?With a strong influence from roots and dub music, Max blends original sounds into modern day electronic styles, celebrating musical cultures and genres from around the world along the way. Having taken London by storm he's set to release his new set of Zouk Bass - Dancehall mashups Max's with more tropical mutations in the pipeline - expect dutty vibes. And originally hailing from Mexico City Chilango's DJ style combines electro cumbia, moombahton and tropical mash ups and has kicked up a storm at club nights across the capital as well as Glastonbury Festival, London MexFest, amongst others
PURE TROPICAL PARTY VIBES!! A favourite for Saturday night crowds in West London, Muévete is a monthly fiesta - a pure party version of Movimientos, with a dance floor-slammin' mash up of raw Latin beats and tropical bass. From the rolling Latin rhythms of salsa, cumbia, merengue and Samba to the raw urban flavours of reggaeton, Hip Hop, dancehall, moombahton, baile funk and dutty carnival rhythms, incorporating a healthy dose of African beats and global underground music.
Put simply Muévete translates as 'Move it!' so we're not beating around the bush - straight to the dancefloor!?
