Grupo Lokito + Voodoo Brass Band + DJ Zooverano

Movimientos return to our South London home, the legendary Hootananny Brixton, for a night of big brassy rhythms to banish those January blues! Grupo Lokito are back with their big band outfit including horn section, who alongside Voodoo Brass Band and Colombian DJ Zooverano are sure the get the dancefloor moving.

Grupo Lokito fuse contemporary Congolese and Cuban music creating a modern day cocktail of two of the great world musics. Based in London, the band have taken the UK by storm, wowing festivals and the club circuit alike with their blistering grooves and outlandish dance moves. With the quality of its musicianship and its powerful live shows, the band has been making waves both here in London and in Kinshasa and are not to be missed.

Voodoo brass band is a 9 piece ensemble drawing inspiration from New Orleans brass outfits, playing their own hard-hitting arrangements and compositions in both traditional and more modern styles.

Colombian DJ Zooverano is relatively new to the London scene but has been making a stir with his killer selection of alternative Latin beats.
