#FLAWA2020 has prepared a night of non-stopping dance with Ms Nina, a young multidisciplinary artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. She achieved international recognition as a net artist, exhibiting at Junior High (Los Angeles), La Térmica and La Fresh Gallery, one of the most prestigious galleries in Spain. Her musical career has made her one of the key figures to understand the Latin rhythms that sound in Europe.
Movimientos presents a night of unstoppable grooves down at the Hoot! Grupo Lokito’s blisteringly powerful Cuban x Congolese crossover is sure to light up the dancefloor - two of the great world musics collide! SOMA’s sun-soaked fusions will be on hand to build up the energy, while NÓMADE’s instrumental grooves are all set to get you moving. Movimientos’ DJ Cal Jader will be stepping up to the decks to keep things going before and after with a mix of Latin & tropical beats.

Latin x Congolese crossover!

Grupo Lokito fuse contemporary Congolese and Cuban music creating a modern day cocktail of two of the great world musics. Based in London, the band have taken the UK by storm, wowing festivals and the club circuit alike with their blistering grooves and outlandish dance moves. With the quality of its musicianship and its powerful live shows, the band has been making waves both here in London and in Kinshasa and are not to be missed.

Energetic Afro-Latin grooves

Bristol-based SOMA are renowned for their distinctive fusion of samba, hi-life, afrobeat and bossa. Their sun-soaked compositions and contagious beats will transport you to sunnier climes and their Afro-Latin influences are sure to leave you energised. Expect to dance from start to finish and sing along (even if you can’t speak Portuguese) to their captivating melodies.

Instrumental fusions with an improvised flair

Aldo Couceiro is an Argentinian born and raised musician. Around August 2017, after working for a year and a half as a session guitar player for some bands of the London scene, he decided to start his own project called NÓMADE, an instrumental trio (guitar, bass and drums) playing a fusion of Funk, Afrobeat, Reggae/Dub, Blues and Latin grooves.

Latin & tropical beats

Cal Jader is one of the musical activists, founders and original 'dancehall caballeros' behind Movimientos. With his trademark blend of red hot 'classico' latin beats, uptempo carnival rhythms, tropical bass, and fresh global sounds he is helping to soundtrack London's thriving underground scene with residencies across the capital.
