The sounds of soul and samba run through Liniker’s blood. Following Brazil’s undisputed tradition as one of the world’s great musical nations, FLAWA is extremely excited to welcome some of São Paulo’s finest as Liniker e os Caramelows bring their beautiful energy to London.
This award-winning band has been making waves all over Brazil for a good few years now, creating a contemporary sound combining soul with the tropical heritage of MPB (popular brazilian music). Their Brazilian soul music is full of a beautiful energy matched by their live performance. They’ve been going from strength to strength ever since, having released their first studio album, ‘Remonta’, won the Breakthrough Act award at the Prêmio Multishow and placed third in the Rolling Stone Brazil Best Album of the Year list.
This show is presented by FLAWA (Festival of Latin American Women in Arts).
