#FLAWA2020 has prepared a night of non-stopping dance with Ms Nina, a young multidisciplinary artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. She achieved international recognition as a net artist, exhibiting at Junior High (Los Angeles), La Térmica and La Fresh Gallery, one of the most prestigious galleries in Spain. Her musical career has made her one of the key figures to understand the Latin rhythms that sound in Europe.
Movimientos are back to get you ready for London’s top street party exploring the Brazilian influence as we take over Passing Clouds for a real ‘Carnaval Bloco’.

Fiesta Brasil: Carnival Warm Up

Get ready as the spectacle that is Tribo brings drums to your ears with a big bateria, singers, guest musicians and a whole lotta samba reggae good vibes. Tribo are an international non-profit cross-cultural drumming and dance music project, but they are so much more than this. They are the carnival party-starters and their high-energy mix of samba-reggae are will get the whole venue moving! A mainstay of Carnival, this huge ensemble gets the block jumping all around the UK and Europe and this show is their warm up as part of the parade at Europe’s biggest carnival Notting Hill Carnival.

As well there’s Tonzee, a band with one foot in London the other in Brazil. Moving seamlessly through genres from samba, novo tropicalia to reggae, rock and drum ‘n’ bass. members, Fernando Machado (vocals, guitar), Alba Cabral (vocals, percussion), Will Roberts (drum kit) and Enrique Galassi (double-bass) are on the top of their game. With uplifting tracks tinged with a tropical flavor there’s plenty to swing your hips to.

Adding a Uruguayan twist to our Fiesta celebrations will be Boiler Room regular Selectorchico. Expect classic dance grooves from Montevideo in the 70s alongside the finest new tropical bass.?

Upstairs, Larissa & Guests celebrate 4 years of Udigrudi. Since 2011, Udigrudi has been shaking upstairs with the best Samba and tropical vinyls that can be spun. Expect extra special tracks for this extra special birthday celebration!
