Movimientos is hyped to welcome Colombian / Italian artist and songwriter Desta French for the first time at Hootananny. As one of the most exciting voices emerging from London’s Latin music scene she is laying down the blueprint for a new generation of British Latinx creatives to deliver their own unique sound—with a broad range of influences spanning salsa, cumbia, hip-hop, lo-fi, grime, and Latin Pop music, expressed through her native London Camden attitude. 

Plus we are very excited to welcome a very special guest joining us from Colombia Lianna – Originally hailing from Medellin her sound is the intersection of neo-soul, R&B and rap, steeped in Hip Hop heritage but unafraid to explore her soulful side, LIANNA is part of a new generation who are raising the bar and gaining international recognition in the process. ‘leading a fresh charge of talent from Colombia’ CLASH MAG

Keeping it UK-Colombian we also welcome one of the most respected rappers from the scene here Mike Kalle always spitting pure fire and keeping the vibes high, as well as a DJ set from CXLI who are taking the UK Latin club sound forward with their highly original electronic mutations of Reggaeton, Afrobeats & UK Bass. 

Also on the decks Colombian-British DJ / Artist Bushbby joins Movimientos’s Cal Jader to keep the dance floor bumpin’ with everything from Dembow to Salsa, Afro-Latin beats & tropical electronic beats
