Movimientos are back at the Hoot with some an incredible lineup of Afro-Latin grooves! 9 piece band Dende will be getting the dancefloor moving with their eclectic mix of Afro-Latin party tunes, from Cumbia to Calypso to psychedelic Dub! Esteban Card will also be in the building exploring the ancestral, rootsy sounds of the Colombian Afro-Latin diaspora fused with contemporary production. Eclectic Afro-Latin Party Tunes!
A 9 piece band playing an eclectic mix of tunes with a firm rooting in Afro-Latin styles, from Cumbia to Calypso, Samba to psychedelic Dub vibes. Dende always get the room moving with their distinct blend of gorgeous harmonic horns, sweet vocals, wicked percussion section, funky guitar and heavy bass lines.... and with the odd dub siren thrown in for good measure!

Bringing positive ancestral vibes, rhythms, Cumbia and Bullerengue from the Colombian Caribbean coast and presenting these trance-inducing roots percussion parts with contemporary production. Let yourself go as Esteban Card reflects on experiences from the Colombian Afro-Latin diaspora where the fusion of different elements will make your body move.
