London Gaita Social Club

The London Gaita Social Club (LGSC) is an urban collective that performs Afro-Indigenous music from Colombia, one of the origins for cumbia rhythms. Drawing from the folkloric traditions of gaita flutes and drums, the group fuses vibrant rhythms and soulful melodies that celebrates this cultural heritage.

Ritmos Cholulteka

Ritmos Cholulteka aka Bruno Sin Más is one of the pioneers of Cumbia  and Latin American music in the Portuguese capital Lisbon. Creator of “Movimiento Cumbiero” a movement to unify Latin American residents in the city from 2013.

And founder of NAHUEL COLECTIVO, with the purpose of spreading Latin American culture in Portugal. His DJ sets have a deep and lively energy mixed with Mexican pre-Hispanic instruments and accompanied by native visuals

Santa Leticia

Hailing from Spain and based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Leticia mainly collects records from her diggin’ trips to tropical and Mediterranean climates. Find her on Radio Alhara every third Tuesday of the month with her show “Dig A Bit Further”. She is the co-founder of Rainforest Disco, a regular vinyl-only party in the North East of England where she spins global grooves. In her sets, expect psychedelic, raw, and soulful music; spacey-echoey organs and fuzzy guitars, groovy accordions and hot tambores – sounds that inspire alegría, lamento and fuego. She’s played in Mexico City, Colombia, Spain, and in the UK across clubs and summer festivals.

Chichi Banana

Chichi Banana’s sets are a booty, shaking, shiny, adrenaline-driven lovefest. These sets can be as much performance as DJ’ing: livening up the audience through lascivious dance moves. Get ready for a bundle of energy on the decks and a colorful mix of old and new danceable music treasures from Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa: colombian champeta, high life, soukous, reggaeton, dancehall, afrohouse, fresh afrobeats and more.
