Back for round 2 after last year’s epic daytime party we once again welcome two titans of the Latin American and global underground electronic scene: Chancha Via Circuito and El Búho. For this peak summer tropical rave, in the garden of one of South East London’s finest music spots we’re delighted to host a special extended set from these two pioneers playing together in the UK for only the second time.

Support comes from Argentinian singer & multi instrumentalist Alumine Guerrero – playing live for the first time in London –  who re-interprets Latin American folklore enriched with electronic elements and hip-hop. As well as a DJ set from AUKA whose bass-heavy, percussive dance floor sound celebrates the diaspora experience, serving up a host of forward-facing global club sounds, folkloric-infused downtempo.

This time we’ll have extra sound system power with extra bass bins and subs plus, food, cocktails and good vibes all round

Aluminé Guerrero, argentinian singer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer, transports us into a joyful and festive trance through the fusion of digital rhythms, charango chords, guitar, and pinkullo melodies. She offers a reinterpretation of Latin American folklore enriched with electronic elements and hip-hop, paying passionate homage to indigenous cultures. Her performance is an initiatory journey that, in addition to being profoundly musical, immerses us in a sensory and emotional universe, inviting us to join the dance. With innate sensitivity, Aluminé conveys a deeply rooted nostalgia in her origins, urging us to keep moving forward, to embark on a journey for the love of the path, creating a neo-folklore of love letters to the territory accompanied by contemporary and futuristic sounds.

AUKA is a former Worldwide FM resident AUKA’s bass-heavy, percussive dance floor sound celebrates the diaspora experience, serving up a host of forward-facing global club sounds, folkloric-infused downtempo, or rootsy selections of salsa and old-school South African house to name a few. Reflecting the multiplicity of her identity as a Londoner of Chilean, South African, and Welsh heritage, AUKA’s genre-unconfined sets are a regular feature on London’s underground club circuit and she has hosted shows on Balamii Radio and Foundation FM alongside her work as an activist, artist, and trombonist.
