#FLAWA2020 has prepared a night of non-stopping dance with Ms Nina, a young multidisciplinary artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. She achieved international recognition as a net artist, exhibiting at Junior High (Los Angeles), La Térmica and La Fresh Gallery, one of the most prestigious galleries in Spain. Her musical career has made her one of the key figures to understand the Latin rhythms that sound in Europe.

Movimientos joins forces with Como No to present the launch for the first full length album from the London Lucumi Choir as part of La Linea Festival 2012.

Led by director / arranger Daniela Rosselson De Armas - who studied Spiritual Song in Matanzas, Cuba - the choir sing songs from the living tradition of Santeria (also known as Lucumi) brought to Cuba from West Africa and celebrate their 5th birthday by launching the CD here. Performing on the night alongside Gerardo Y Su Rumba Aché whose musicians also feature on the recordings including the talented percussion section from Cuba and the UK including Javier Campos Martinez (Omar Sosa), Randy Lester (Sur Caribe), Hammadi Rencurrel (Chucho Valdes), Raudelis Quiala Cisneros (Catumba, Conjunto Folklorico de Oriente), Jim Le Messurier (La Clave) and band leader ex -Yoruba Andabo vocalist, Gerardo. The night will? also feature the best in Afro Cuban Dance with celebrated dancer Lazaro Lopez.

The night will also feature a screening of the film "Matanzas: Growing into Music" a unique look at the preservation and renovation of cultural traditions in Cuba today part of a project led by academic Geoff Baker and BBC Radio 3 / World Routes' Lucy Duran.

Los Muñequitos de Matanzas is one of Cuba’s most emblematic music and dance ensembles. This film explores the transmission of knowledge and skills between generations within two of its families, the Ramos and the Pérez, providing a unique look at the preservation and renovation of cultural traditions in Cuba today.
