As part of the exhibition ‘Frida Kahlo: The Making of an Icon’, the evening celebrates Latin American creatives with music, film, talks and workshops taking over the Tate building.

Movimientos’ crew and special guests are turning the South Tank into a fiesta spot from 6:00 to 9:30 pm with dynamic sets of Latin American-rooted rhythms.

Moving through cumbia, salsa, merengue, champeta, funk and more, the lineup brings together Gypsy Box, a Mexican DJ/producer and a pioneer of the Tropical Cumbia scene in Europe; Suma Phayiri, a Colombian musician, selector and cultural agitator, founder of N.E.A Records, known for weaving deep diasporic rhythms into hypnotic dancefloor journeys;  Moralito, Colombian record collector and DJ known for spinning groovy and psychedelic sounds; and Dr. Perra, Bogotá-born DJ, vinyl collector and curator working across Afro-diasporic and contemporary underground sounds.
