The Latin Dub Sound System is about big bass lines, carnival rhythms, and that moment when the music just makes you want to lose control. It’s a genre defying live sound that incorporates Latin percussion, house-driven melodies, dub beats, uplifting vocals, flamenco guitars, Mambo horns and hip hop.

They deliver a live music experience never to be forgotten featuring an ever changing array of like-minded singers and MCs including Rodney P, Ska Cubano, Yungun, Eva Abraham and Benjamin Zephaniah.

The Sound System was launched with an acoustic set at Momos in February and two secret shows at Favela Feva and The Vortex. Following a busy summer of shows, including Lovebox, Secret Garden Party and Paradise Gardens, the band are putting the finishing touches to their first EP for release early 2008 and open the La Linea Latin Music festival at Koko alongside Ska Cubano, on whose forthcoming remix album they deliver a killer cut.
